Hello everyone! My name is Chiara Morettini, and I have been part of the Viterbo International School community for three years. From the very beginning, I found a welcoming, collaborative environment that truly feels like home.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the Carlo Bo School for Interpreters and Translators in Rome, and two Master’s degrees — one in Specialised Translation and another in Digital Information. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience as an Italian tutor for American students and adults at Temple University Rome, I translated Italian books for the international market, and collaborated with International House, where I supported Cambridge English examinations.
Outside of school, I enjoy keeping active and spending quality time with my dog and two cats.
I believe that teaching is not just about letters and numbers, but about equipping children with the tools to face the world with confidence and joy. A child who feels safe and happy learns best — and when my pupils go home smiling, I know I have done my job well.
