Vivienne Wall – Supply Teacher

My name is Vivienne Wall and I am the substitute teacher for EC and Primary classes. I am originally from the UK and I was born and raised not too far from London. I moved to Italy with my English husband in 2008 after spending lots of my free time learning Italian. After obtaining my TEFL certificate, I began teaching English to young learners and adults in various settings locally including the army and air force bases in Viterbo. In 2013, I started working at the original St Thomas’s School premises as the EAL support teacher whilst completing a diploma in Early Learning and Childcare. I was employed full-time at the school in March 2014 and was the Reception class teacher before moving to Prep. I left full-time employment at the end of the 2022 school year to spend more time with my husband who is retired. Now I work as the substitute teacher whenever I am needed. This is great for me as I get to spend time with different age students and I can follow my previous students’ learning journeys. I really enjoy my time at Viterbo International School because my colleagues are a wonderful team of people and the children are fun and interesting. I get enormous satisfaction from seeing their progression in the International School environment.
