Hello! My name is Melissa Del Tutto, and I am a Grade 2 teacher here at VIS. This is my second year teaching at the school. Prior to joining VIS, I worked as a substitute teacher at Britannia International School in Rome. I have taught children in Thailand, where I obtained my TEFL certification, and I have had the opportunity to work and volunteer with children in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Namibia, and the United States.
I hold a Montessori Elementary qualification and am finishing my degree in Educational Science. Being half English and half Italian, I value cultural diversity and believe in creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn.
