My name is Giorgia Rocchetti and I am one of the teachers in the Italian Department. I work in primary and preschool, and I am also the After School Activities Programme Coordinator (ASAPC) organizing and supervising afterschool activities.
After graduating in Educational Sciences and Training, I joined VIS in 2018, an environment that allowed me to grow professionally and consolidate my passion for teaching. In the following years, I completed courses in “Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (L2)” and the “Scuola dell’Empatia – Didattica delle Emozioni®.”
For me, teaching means creating moments where children can have fun, learn, and grow with a smile, feeling welcomed and safe in the classroom.
I love the sun and the sea. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks, and sharing precious moments with my family and friends. I love traveling and how every trip gives me new experiences. As soon as I get back, I can’t wait to go again!
